Who we are
Car Truck Clubs (www.cartruckclubs.com) is run by Sargent Interactive LLC. Questions about this policy: privacy@sargentinteractive.com. How we handle personal information more generally is in our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to keep. Similar technologies include browser storage (such as local storage) and content from other companies, like an embedded video, that makes your browser contact their servers. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.
How we use them
Strictly necessary cookies run the site: keeping you signed in, protecting sign-in from bots and forgery, remembering a theme you picked, and remembering your cookie choices. They are always on because the site can't work without them.
Functional cookies are optional. Today this category covers only embedded YouTube videos. They are off until you turn them on. Until then, videos show a placeholder and your browser makes no request to YouTube or Google.
We don't use analytics, advertising, conversion pixels, heatmaps or session recording, so there are no Analytics or Marketing categories. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask you first.

Cookie lifetimes above are how long your browser keeps them. How long a provider keeps data it receives is separate; see the Privacy Policy and the provider's own policy.
Your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all optional cookies, reject them, or customize. Closing or ignoring the banner, scrolling or browsing does not count as agreement: optional cookies stay off. You can also allow videos from a video placeholder, which turns on the Functional category.
Change or withdraw your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw, the page reloads without any embedded video and no new videos load. Other tabs of this site that are already open pick up the change the next time you open a page in them. We can't delete cookies that YouTube or Google have already stored on their own domains, or data they have already received; you can clear those in your browser or through Google's settings.
We keep your choice for 6 months, whether you accepted or rejected, then ask again. We also ask again if we add a new kind of optional cookie or provider. Your choice applies only to this website (www.cartruckclubs.com); our test site keeps its own.
Each time you save a choice we keep a record of it (a random receipt number, what you chose, the version of this notice, and when) to show what you agreed to. It doesn't include your IP address or account.
Videos, images and links from other companies
- YouTube videos load only with your permission, from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode). Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy (opens in a new tab). You can always use "Watch on YouTube" instead, which opens YouTube in a new tab.
- Track photos, maps and logos from Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia, and profile photos from Google sign-in, are fetched by our server and served from this site. Your browser does not contact Wikimedia or Google to show them, and their cookies are not set.
- Map directions and "Add to Google Calendar" are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to Google unless you click one.
- Sign in with Google (or another provider) takes you to that provider's site only when you choose it, and their cookies and policies apply there.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data. If you block necessary cookies you won't be able to sign in. Clearing cookies also clears your cookie choice here, so the banner will appear again. Deleting cookies doesn't erase data a provider has already received.
Privacy signals
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) as an opt-out of selling or sharing personal information and of targeted advertising, without you needing to sign in. We don't sell or share personal information or show targeted ads today, so the signal doesn't change anything else on the site. If you have GPC on, Cookie settings tells you we received it.
