Copyright Policy

How to tell us about content that infringes your copyright, and what happens next.

Draft awaiting legal review. The wording may change before it's final.

Effective October 14, 2026

Members post their own photos and content on Car Truck Clubs. Sargent Interactive LLC respects copyright and removes infringing material when we're told about it. Notices that include the details below, which follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), are the quickest for us to act on.

Report infringement

For a quick review, use the Report button on the photo or page and choose "Copyright". For a formal notice, email terms@sargentinteractive.com or write to Sargent Interactive LLC, PO Box 65, Toney, AL 35773, USA, and include:

  • your physical or electronic signature (or that of someone authorized to act for the copyright owner);
  • the copyrighted work you believe was infringed (or a list, if several works are covered by one notice);
  • the material you want removed and where it is on the site, ideally the page link;
  • your name, address, phone number and email address;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

What we do

When we receive a complete notice, we promptly remove or disable access to the material, and let the member who posted it know, including a copy of the notice.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to terms@sargentinteractive.com or the postal address above that includes:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • what was removed and where it appeared before removal;
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification;
  • your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you're outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

We forward the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of members who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances. Members who receive more than one valid notice may lose their account.

False claims

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a false claim in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages. If you're not sure whether something infringes, consider talking to a lawyer first.

Track images and venue logos

Many track photos and maps come from Wikimedia Commons and are shown under their licenses, with credit next to each image. Many venue logos come from Wikipedia. Venue logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the venue. If you own a logo or image and want it removed, email terms@sargentinteractive.com or use the Report button, and we'll remove it promptly.
